Mystique, formerly sold as a service dog lost her much loved mistress suddenly only six weeks after losing her master. Because I am her breeder, Mystique came back to me which was Carolyn's wish, as well as mine. Actually Mystique was with me from shortly after her master's death. I had offered to show her for Carolyn in hopes of pleasing her. She was very pleased and looked forward to seeing Mystique at the show, asking me to let her know what time and what days she was being shown. Sadly, before the show weekend, Carolyn suddenly passed away. So when Mystique picked up four more points to go with the two she already had, I smiled and said "This one's for you Carolyn" knowing in my heart how proud and excited she would have been to see her 'Teekie' go over a Specials female to take Best of Winners and Best Opp to her own cousin Ch. Tamaron's Viva Las Vegas' Best of Breed.
Today, I know Carolyn would be even happier to know that Mystique is now co-owned by myself and Sandra Hamilton of Glasgowhill collies. It was always a wish of Carolyn's that Mystique finish her championship. That is why she never had her spayed..she was hoping to be able to get her shown as she recognized Mystique's quality. Well now Mystique will have the opportunity to pick up those final four points and she will also contribute to the breed from the whelping box.
